Information for new patients joining our practice, and how specialist referrals work once you're enrolled.
New Patient Enrollment
Our enrollment waitlist is currently open. To join, please complete our enrollment waitlist form. Each person in your family, including children, needs their own separate form filled out with accurate information.
Once you've submitted your form, you've been added to the waitlist. We'll contact you by phone or email when we reach your name, to book a meet and greet appointment.
Completing the intake form does not make you a patient yet. You cannot be seen, including for refills or urgent concerns, until after your meet and greet appointment. If you need care before then, visit a walk-in clinic, urgent care centre, or emergency department.
Please don't call to check your place on the waitlist. We'll reach out directly once it's your turn.
Specialist Referrals
When your doctor determines it's needed, we can arrange a referral to a specialist in Ottawa or the surrounding area. OHIP requires that you first be seen by your primary care physician before any referral is made.
Once we've sent your referral, the specialist's office will triage it and contact you directly to book an appointment. Please note that wait times for specialist appointments in the Ottawa area are currently longer than usual.
